Clueing in on the Killer by Jane Wallace has triplets, Callie, Cassie and Lonnie involved in another crime. Cassie’s writing class gets switched to mystery writing and they use Clue as their inspiration. Then a murder occurs that happens to be eerily similar to one of the student’s writing. When a second death occurs, Cassie and her siblings don their sleuthing caps and begin searching for clues. Clueing in on the Killer is the 3rd A Board Game Murders. It can be read on its own for those new to this series. I like how the crimes in each book tie into a board game. It is a fun concept. The story is easy to read with its nice flow and steady pacing. There is a large cast of characters that can be daunting to keep track of at times. I enjoy the small-town setting of this series. I enjoyed following the triplets as they solved the crime. However, the guilty party can easily be identified early in the story. Clueing in on the Killer is a cute cozy mystery with a fun concept and lively main characters.
