This was so relatable it made me tear up a little. This little red blob that seems small at first and then becomes all consuming is the perfect imagery for anxiety. The situations Marie finds herself in are painfully recognizable. I liked that this comic was just about anxiety - not trying to fight it or fix it or just "be strong." I think that's super real. Her resources were also great and many of them are things cognitive behavioral therapists (hey, recommendation number one!) have suggested to me.

I love the idea of a little blob on the shoulder to represent what anxiety feels like!

I feel so understood. It's accurate but also provides perspective. I appreciate the list of tested solutions and resources at the end. So grateful for this work.

This comic is the definition of relatable. Woodall's little sinister embodiment of anxiety is simple but so effective. Also, her recommended resources and strategies for coping with anxiety are all heartily seconded by a fellow clinically anxious person.

It's quite paradoxical to describe a comic about anxiety as delightful, but it really is! Jenn Woodall's style is so nice, both visually and in terms of storytelling, and the way she portrays anxiety as both the little, nagging voice in your head, but also a physical force that can swallow the whole world, is done so well and really hits the feeling of anxiety spot on.
