When I first opened the package, my thought was, 'what an adorable book', and that thought didn't change as I was read it.
Bentley the Hippo is a very likable character with some very real situations and in this book, he is helping his new friend learn to share.
I would highly recommend this book for pre-schoolers and early grade readers.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.
This book is the cutest read ever and I want everyone to read it. The book has the mostly friendliest and well-mannered hippo and a little monkey that wants to share but sucks at it. However Bentley and the elephant teach the month on what sharing entails. It's a perfect read on what sharing is and what it entails. I highly recommend it,.

The book is a part of the series developed around concepts like sharing, bullying, understanding disabilities, and so on. This book deals with sharing and the right way to share something with others. It has a cute green hippo, a nerdy elephant, and a confused little monkey. The hippo and the elephant teach the monkey the right way to share.
The concept is heartwarming and necessary for kids to learn at a young age. The book has questions at the end meant for group activities at schools. The illustrations are cheerful and vibrant. Kids can easily identify the animals due to their resemblance to cartoon characters.
My only grouse is the narration that felt jumpy and disjointed. Maybe it’ll work better when teachers/ elders explain each page to the kids after reading the content.
To sum up, The Adventures of Bentley Hippo: Inspiring Children to Share is a good book for kids aged 4 and up to learn about sharing and friendships.
I received an ARC from NetGalley and BooksGoSoical and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Important read about sharing and how to share. This book is a perfect read for preschoolers. The bright colourful illustrations with examples every child can relate to bring this topic to life. The questions at the end help to further develop childrens understanding of sharing. This series involves a great set of cute animal characters what children will love. Would like to read more from this series. Many thanks Netgalley.
