I shared this with all three grandchildren tonight [#3 introduced it to me!] and all three were gripped. 12, 10 and 7 all completely gripped by lonely, hopeful Heather and the alien she encounters in the (beautifully drawn) dark forest. And I was moved by Heather’s discovering as an older person what really mattered to her...

The illustrations in Lights on Wonder Rock are PHENOMENAL and will leave you awestruck. Wonderful story to read with someone who loves nature and UFO’s. Loved the theme of friendship too. Add this story to your library. HAPPY READING
