I was not expecting and really enjoy the exploration of independence and codependence in the story.

Ignorance truly is bliss. Anyone would keep their innocence if they could. There's nothing foolish about that, it's how life is.

 I love the addition of Ruth as a character. Super sweet and that relationship with Chise is lovely. It’s good seeing her grow her family and find people that care about her. Elias and Chise have a slow burn relationship that I’m really loving. They don’t understand their feelings and so it’s always awkward and cute to watch them interact.
