3-1/2 stars. Story had potential but I found the dialogue a bit unnatural and stiff.

Soooo

I liked the premise, I liked the characters to the degree of their development. I found I was not a fan of the writing. It seemed to be lacking to me. I didn't love her sentence structure and that really hurt how I felt about the book. I LOVE Roxie. She was great. But I found myself just wanting to get the book done so I could move on. I finished the book so the story at least had me wanting to finish it instead of DNFing it.

I am not sure if I will read more in this series. It's a shame because I really liked a couple of the secondary characters and I see they have their own books.

Not a horrible book at all. I think a lot of people will enjoy this book and series. It is a solid MC series. But the writing is just not for me.

Rapid City is not in North Dakota...this part of the book annoyed me more than it probably should have.

What I think about this books is that it was boring to be a MC Romance. The men were to tame for me. Lot of things was left out. The heroine is a guidance counselor to the hero daughter and she wanted to help her. But after getting with the hero, the daughter seem she was drop by the waste side.

Good bones but...

I started skimming through this story at about 25%. I don’t think the characters were developed well and the fact they kept forgetting about the daughter’s issues really irked me. It started off about the daughter but they H and the h never really helped her. I also think the author tried to put more into the story then there should have been; there were so many conflicts. The overall plot was ok; good bones.

This book was ridiculous. I get the sexy biker thing but the steamy scenes sounded like a 12 year old boy wrote them. Not for me.

Cross is a typical MC romance. That dangerous hero, damsel in distress heroine, dark plot and the rival MC plot.

While listening to the audiobook, I keep waiting to be blown away or be surprised. Or even lost myself on the writing. Miss Bourne sadly short of expectation.

I got bored in the middle of the book. And something is nagging on me. The daugther of the hero seems missing from the story. Missing means Miss Bourne does not involved her character toward the story.

This was a short read but it was really good. I fell in love with the characters within first meeting them.
