I really love this second book in this heart-racing series. You see that Karigan has grown a couple years after the first book. She has somewhat accpeted her life as a green rider. a little romance is brewing too. I can't wait to read the high king's tomb, the third book in this series.

Just don't enjoy this writing type at all anymore unfortunately. Reminds me of all the things I was fed up with in Mercedes Lackey as well.

This was… fine, but not a series I think I would continue reading. The characterization and pacing are just not that great. I think if I’d been younger and had read much less in this genre I might have enjoyed this more.
