I was sad when the Camos and Cupcake series ended, but Hate to Love You is kind of a spin off and gives a whole slew of new characters to enjoy.

I liked that Sydney was intelligent, strong, kind of brash, sarcastic, yet easy going, and a genuinely nice person. She and Grady worked so well together, and the sexual tension started building from the very beginning. I liked the fact that Grady respected Syd, her intelligence, her professionalism, and recognized her competence to move beyond the job she held.

Even when Grady made a supremely dumb move, I couldn't really be mad at him because I knew he wasn't going to try and hold Sydney back. He had a moment of stupidity.

I also loved Syd and Nancy's friendship. They could read one another and practically finish the other person's sentence. They seemed to have a number of "Brown liquor" experiences.

I enjoyed all the secondary characters, and can't wait for their stories. This book was sweet, sexy, romantic, a funny with a tiny pinch of angst. A definite 4.5 stars read.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received from the author via Booksprout.

Hate to Love You by Melissa Schroeder is a sweet, sexy and laugh out loud funny spin-off from the Camos and Cupcake series. Grady Hawthorne is gorgeous and driven. Sydney Fillmore is smart and sassy. When these two are in the same room you can feel the chemistry. This book had me laughing and sighing and breaking out the ice water. Highly recommend.

Man this was crazy entertaining. It's funny, charming, sexy and oh so swoonworthy. Grady and Sydney are fantastic! I really loved the side characters and I'm excited for the next one.

This was my first book by the author and the first in this series. I enjoyed it although I will admit there are a lot of characters introduced here. That being said they are all well written in my opinion and the storyline just grabs you.

I loved Sydney and Grady, they were awesome characters. Their chemistry s off the charts and can I just say that the comedy side of this romantic comedy is on point. Not once did it fall short for me. This is the perfect pick me up read when you are feeling like you need one.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. This review was originally posted on Wickedly Romance

Hate to Love You is a standalone story featuring characters from the world of Ms Schroeder's wonderful Camos and Cupcakes series, and it's a very readable story. That was not only entertaining, but full of heat and humour. And with little angst and lots of appealing characters, I was easily absorbed throughout. Therefore, I would happily recommend it to others.

If a hallmark movie was more drawn out. Although I love a good hallmark movie. I don’t want to read one for 2 days.
