I think I've officially found a set of children's books to read my kids someday!! These stories are so heartwarming and soothing, I couldn't help but get emotional and nostalgic reading them. Oh, and have I mentioned the illustrations?? Absolutely stunning.
His full name is Sanderson Mansnoozie and I love it. Art is beautiful. Character and story are cute.
I absolutely LOVE Joyce's artwork! His stories are creative and I can see the imagination working behind my kid's eyes. I can't wait until they're a little older and we can read the Guardian books for young readers.
The best part of this book is the moral of the story, because it addresses a problem that is very common to children everywhere. I always had terrible nightmares as a child and I very clearly remember what it is like to be afraid of them. Had I had this book back then, I would have enjoyed it immensely, and I can imagine many more children will too.
The illustrations are gorgeous as always. I especially liked the color palette in this one, the many dark skies contrasted by the golden sand were very dream-like indeed.
