there is spice but its relatively low level. Not too graphic if that's a concern.

Thank you to Netgalley for an early ARC of Yagi the Bookshop Goat. All thoughts on this manga are my own. This will be released April 12th 2022.
Tokyopop strikes again with another marvelous, one-volume, Boy's Love manga. If I am ever having a bad day, Tokyopop's Love x Love manga are wonderful pick-me-ups with all the fluff and cuteness. Yagi the Bookshop Goat did not disappoint one bit and is one of the best Love x Love releases yet.
This short-volume manga follows Yagi, a young billy goat, who has always dreamed of working in a bookstore; however, everyone knows that goats just love paper. Yagi is turned away from all the bookstores in the herbivore community. Wanting to fulfill his dream, he heads over to the carnivore community and begs a Wolf bookstore owner for. a job and is given the opportunity. Oh and Yagi also happens to have a talent where if he eats a book he can get a hint of the book's "flavor" or themes if you will. Soon Yagi is falling for his Wolf boss and things become complicated from there.
This entire standalone manga just made me so happy. Yagi was an adorable, innocent, little billy goat who has a passion for reading, yet also has a passion for eating the books he loves. It's a serious personal dilemma.
I also found the whole world interesting. You have the herbivore community full of goats, pigs, bunnies, etc., and the carnivore community of bears, cheetahs, wolves, owls, and other amazing animals. The whole theme and idea of the manga was unique. Something new and interesting that captures you right away. I would love to see more manga volumes based in this world.
The romance, while not as unique as the world, was super cute and fluffy. I love Yagi and Ookami, they are both such cinnamon rolls!
I highly recommend this volume to everyone who wants a cute, fluffy, and unique read all in one sitting.
