I thought this book had a great premise. Some of the dialogue struck me as odd, and the plot was a little slow leading up to the climax of the story. I wish the ending was wrapped up a bit tighter too, but overall not a bad book for a debut.

From an interesting beginning to many unpleasant scenes, to an ending that was beyond "anti-climactic," there was nothing about this story that I can recommend. Don't waste your time!

interesting concept

This story had an interesting premise. A man and his family in the not too distant future living in an inhospitable landscape and surviving the hostile conditions. Why are they there? Are their suspicions and theories correct? What happened to Georgia and the rest of her family? I felt like the book was heavy on details but left a lot of unanswered questions.

Well written and engaging. The ending left me feeling incomplete.
