Small but mighty. From capitalism to environmentalism to the small griefs we face everyday, nothing is left untouched. So cleverly crafted through the works of studio ghibli, topics that often feel far off and distant in the monotony of life become real and raw. (4.5)

A meditative book on grief and ghibli with truly touching sections. It conveyed feelings really well but I would have liked to have seen more close reading

I was bought this following a personal loss, and was in some dark way looking forward to the catharsis I thought it would bring; but unfortunately this little book provided neither the emotional personal exploration I was seeking, nor the informative scholarly examination I might have settled for. And it featured entirely too little "grief" or "Ghibli".
