This was a solid collection; not all of them blew me away but I liked the variety of perspectives. The best one, the short I absolutely loved, was To Hell With Dying by Alice Walker.

I expected this to be better than it was, given the editor. The stories were alright they just didn't blow me away (which is what I was looking for in a "best short stories" collection).
