The art style of this graphic novel was perfectly spooky to accompany one of my favourite Gothic classics! I do think the story was a little bit too condensed for the purposes of the novel, it seemed to lose some of its complexity, but overall an atmospheric and engaging read!

It was okay. It was sort of a last minute grab from HPB because of what it is. Honestly I sped read a lot of this because I know the story so well. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is one of my favorite classics. This was just okay.

A better graphic classic rendition than Master and Margarita. I assume some of the original details are still lost, but it's interesting to see the handwriting gradually switch from Jekyll to Hyde on the final page and other graphic renditions of the transition in the faces.

I haven't read the original version, so I feel like I can't say much about the faithfulness of this adaption. I can however say that I wasn't a big fan of the art style, though it did suit the genre. Quite disturbing, and the cover gives me the heebie-geebies.

I got this at Comic Con for free so I thought I would give it a go. Because I read the original text a few years back I was able to follow the story, however the way it was presented in this graphic novel was a little confusing and my concern is that someone unfamiliar with Stevenson's original tale would struggle with some parts of this edition. The illustrations were also somewhat inconsistent which was a shame, however they did give a good sense of the gothic nature of this tale.
