This was a put down, pick up, put down book. Tommy is in love AGAIN, the twins are fighting AGAIN and one of the parents are leaving for a super secret mission. BUT I love this series none the less. I cant stop reading and I dont know why. We know Uncle Tim is a bad guy, we know Storm is super smart and we know Tommy loves the ladies. Excited to read the next book for some reason. :)

This one just wasn’t as good. Why did the dad leave for the whole book? And why did he find treasure all on his own as an aside? And the ending was sort of thrown in. The worst one so far, but still mildly enjoyable.

I like it don't get me wrong or anything but I kinda drop the book and it open to the end so I already knew what was going to happen at the end, I still had like 70 pages left and had to force myself to read it

Book four in this series is again filled with a cheap plot which feels lime an inferior copy of a really good adventure story. It is like it is there somewhere, and this circles all about it but never reaches it, partly because of weak two dimensional characters, and the necessity to try and push the story alone with zippy chapters and never get bogged down in actual plot and decent book writing, but rushing off to the next scene.
Ordinary but not as terrible as other series from Patterson Inc.

Love the Kidd family and the collaborative work James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein do! Cannot wait to read the next book. 😍

So I liked the three books before this one, so when I got it I was so excited. The other three books take you on a journey of kids doing things by themselves and excelling usually at them. Now, they have there parents back and it just took half of what the books were away. It lost the excitement, because the parents were somewhat slowing the kids down, they can’t realize that their kids have done so many spectacular things with out them there. Now some might be like well it’s because they didn’t want them to get hurt. So what, their parents don’t realize that their kids can get things done with out having to have an adult around, they have done it in the past three books and now the parents just come back in and take over their life again like nothing happened.

I know this is probably not the best review and I’m fine with that, I just needed a place to vent my feelings about this book.
