I don't know, I was rather bored. We kept going in circles and whenever we made progress with Sin it also felt like taking two steps back at the same time.

I bought this book at a Half Price Book Warehouse Sale and there are no regrets from me at all! The heroine, Callie, was a ride or die and I loved every bit of her! Sin began the novel as a literal rock of ice that was slowly melting as I turned each page.

Popsugar 2023: 40)A book by an author with the same initials as you

I love a tortured hero that insists he's too damaged to love. The insta lust and the natural sex talent of the virgin hero was a fun reminder of the types of books I used to read back in the 90s.

Absolutely adored this book! I love a haunted and emotionally cut off hero and a sassy, fierce heroine. The banter was perfect and I loved the mix of characters. Will definitely look to read more by this author!

The amount of convos that went like this:
C1: why is he so sad
C2 (incredibly shocked): how’d you possibly know?
C1: his eyes are sooooooo sad

Bleck. No one talks like that. I was just rolling my eyes the entire time. I dnfed because idgaf. The righting in this book made me want to stab myself with a pencil.

Recap: Scottish lass forced to marry “horrible evil guy” who’s actually just a sweetie pie. Like he’s just a sweet, sassy dude named “Sin”. The only thing to convince us he’s evil is everyone saying “oh man he’s evil”. Like you can’t just say someone’s evil and not actually make him evil. Callie is very annoying and does some pretty stupid stuff but bro dude is just pure patience. And he doesn’t like bullies. What makes him evil?? Nothing.

This is the best written highlander romance I've read so far. By which I mean the plot was well considered and the characters were strong and we'll written. AND FINALLY...the heroine is a tall redhead! And I did love that this time, the hero was ALSO a virgin.
I searched so long for this book and it did not disappoint. Please, romance gods, tell me the rest of Kinley MacGregor's books are equally as good!
