The Last Taxi Driver is about a veteran turned taxi driver. The story takes place over one day. The predicaments and characters that he comes across are hilarious like the customer who couldn't find which of his girlfriends to shack up with. I didn't rate it more because sometimes I got a bit lost between characters, but the stories in the novel are entertaining enough to give it a shot.

Narrator was overly whiny. I can tolerate cynical if it’s witty but there was none of that here.

This read took me a lot longer than it should have. I was really excited to finally dive in to this book, as it’s one that’d been peaking my interest. Sadly, I have really mixed feelings about The Last Taxi Driver. To start, the pacing was off and I found myself wishing to read something else for a while. The second half of the book however, is easily the better half. The pacing was consistent and the plot was interesting. Two starts for this one because I really can’t say I enjoyed it but, I definitely see that the author has talent and the concept was promising.
