I’ve been waiting to read this one for a while because of how much I adored Icebreaker, and this one did not disappoint. I love all the characters in the Maple Hills series and am a huge sucker for hockey player romances.
Aurora and Russ meet at a party at Russ’s hockey teams house. Russ is awkward and shy but is totally swooning over Rory when he meets her, so tries everything in his power to be confident. After a one night stand, due to being miscommunicators, they end up working at the same summer camp as camp counselors, which is really awkward after they both think the other only wanted what happened to have been a one time thing.

I loved Aurora and loved how much character growth she had.
I already loved Russ prior to reading this because of Icebreaker so was so happy to get his story with this. He’s just so adorable.

I can’t wait for Daydream to get more about Henry :)

Another amazing book from Hannah Grace! Russ and Aurora had such a good dynamic and I love that Hannah doesn’t give us that third act breakup BS.

This book was delightful. I loved Icebreaker and was excited to start this book. It delivered romance with a little spice, cute humor, and just enough conflict. I'm ready for the next Maple Hills book.

I loved this book so much but I think it’s because I’m an ex-camp counselor with daddy issues. Parts made me cry when they were too close to home. Probably can’t write an unbiased review bc it was basically my 21 year old romance dream come true mixed with relatable trauma.
