I finished this book in a day. I immediately connected with Jackie, a recovering addict and ex cop with dark secrets. The paranormal aspects of the book added to the overall ambience and general creep factor. It still had lots of old fashioned whodunit moments, so I think it will appeal to general crime fiction readers and paranormal lovers as well.
