Read this on a book swap with my best friend and had lots of fun! The prose was charming and easy to read, and the weaving together of all the separate story paths was really satisfying.

It is always so much fun to revisit this book. It is uniquely fun and funny in a way that so few books are.

Very witty and clever narration. It’s a little confusing at first (at least for me in an audiobook setting) with all the different characters and plot lines, but it all comes together beautifully. Azirafel and Crowley are wonderfully written, fleshed out characters with such quirks! Adam’s growth and development felt very real. The book was hilarious with loads of jabs at America and the entire human race, honestly. Loved the footnotes.

Amazing book. Probably will go down as one of my all time favorites. Funny and dark. The ending isn’t as amazing as it could be but it’s still great.
