This hasn't held up particularly well. It's a charming story of a little girl whose family is in trouble during the Depression. They lose their car, their treasures but have LOVE. The neighbors are rich but turn out to be bad bad bad. I loved this when I was ten, but now? Not so much. I'm a little worried as I continue on to The Boyhood of Grace Jones which I remember loving with all my heart.
