Utterly Magical
An absolute dream to read. From the moment I started reading the book I knew it would be amazing to the end. I literally fell in love with this book . Elizabeth Holland writes an incredibly romantic book that has you swooning over the male MC. It's super cosy, fantastic pace, slow burn and funny too.
A very talented author bringing you into the castle and lives of the characters.
I didn't want the book to end, I was so content reading this one.
Definitely will be a huge fan

I really enjoyed A MERRY CHRISTMAS AT THE CASTLE, a Christmas romance set in the Scottish Highlands. After Eve loses her job at a hole in the wall Italian pizza shop in London, her friend embellishes her resume, making her sound like a master chef, and leading her to get hired to cook at a castle in the Scottish Highlands over Christmas. Also, her boyfriend has just dumped her after a long relationship that was on its last legs. Lachlan, who she has a hilarious meet cute with, is eccentric, but endearing and I loved how this novel was a swoony combination of Christmas-y, full of delicious foods, and just a lovely holiday romance. This is one of those books you want to read with a warm cup of tea and a plate of Christmas cookies close at hand. I thoroughly enjoyed it! 5/5 stars.

Ms. Holland's latest release is a charming holiday romance that transports the reader to a luxurious castle in the beautiful, snowy Scottish Highlands. Having just lost her boyfriend and her job, Eve jumps at the opportunity to take a two-week post cooking for her employer and his guests in Scotland. Of course, there is a handsome love interest, Lachlan, who makes a terrible first impression! I really enjoyed this engaging and romantic story; it is a perfect holiday read, but romance lovers would appreciate this story anytime!
