I wanted to like this more than I did. Although the setting was very cool, and it resolved in a really good way, I couldn't get over the really slow opening and my initial distaste of both of the protagonists.

I just loved this read. The voice, the tone, the word choice. Everything came together to form a fun engaging story.
The romance takes a back seat to the mystery and for that I am glad, it really allows for the world to develop. There is so, so much world here and I am excited for the second and any subsequent reads that involve these characters and this world.

Started this book at least 3 times, I have just started a new job and maybe that’s why I struggled?
I wanted to really like this, murder mystery in space sounds like fun. Didn’t really connect to the characters and the mystery didn’t get to me either.
Really liked the idea and would like to know more of the world.

This novella is a Holmesian mystery set in a sci-fi world. Humanity has colonized Jupiter after Earth becomes uninhabitable. Now Mossa, an investigator, has to find a missing man, and her journey begins at a university with her ex-girlfriend, Pleiti. If you read this, expect fog, trains, academia, a love story, and some world building around how Jupiter has been colonized. It was really well written, but it got lower stars for me, because I found it kind of boring.
