As Promised, It’s Sweet As Sin

This little prequel is everything you’d want in a novella, especially one for such an iconic couple like Kal and Elena. The spice is incredible, the background perfect. Wouldn’t expect anything less from the queen herself.

I think this Novella added to Kal and Elena's story and romance! I'm glad it was told and for me it made me connect and love them even more! Especially Kal we got a lot of his inner thoughts and desires for Elena really highlighting how much he feels for her.

Nope nope nope. Not for me. I’d been interested in this series for a while, but after trying to start this one, no thank you 😄. I liked the Brutal Birthright series by Sophie Lark, so I thought I’d like this one too. No. This one is a lot more … violent than I thought it would be. So … Onto the DNF shelf it goes 🫠.

This is a very hot and steamy start to a new series. I can't wait to see what's in store for Kallum and Elena.

The only reason this is not 5 stars for me is because I selfishly wanted more from The Scene.

Everything the first book was missing was in the prequel! So glad to have it
