Absolutely heartbreaking. Listening to Alan narrate this himself was so devastating that I had to listen to the whole 8.5 hours in one sitting. This book felt a lot like some form of self-therapy and there are many questions posed throughout the book for which he has no answer. This is definitely a book which will stick with me for a while.

Absolutely, profoundly devastating. This must have taken so much courage to write but I think it is really important that this story has been told and I'm grateful to Alan Davies for finding the strength to share. Beautifully written, too.

Beautifuly written but absolutely heartbreaking l. The story is honest, raw and confrontational.

Needed to pace myself with this one, it's a heavy read.
