It just wasn't quite as interesting for a layman as I was hoping - It's possible that it went over my head, but I never really had a "aha" moment where the book changed my perspective on the world.

Still though, a solid book and I'd recommend for math enthusiasts.

This book is a well written history of the emergence of a new way of looking at the world. It illuminates so many things I have wondered about since I was a kid and am still fascinated by. I loved it, although I retained much less than I'll admit here. I will definitely have to read it again in the future, and look into more technical books on the topic.

I read this like 15 years ago or more and remember liking it a lot, but can't find any record, so I'll stick with just 4 stars.

Interesting, perhaps dry, but not to me.
