A reread for me to remind me what Silk's all about. Not sure I ever actually read the next volume. I like the art in some parts of this, the parts done by Stacey Lee, but not a huge fan of the rest.

I didn't think I'd like this - I'm not one for superhero story lines and 'saves the day' type stories. But a friend handed this to me and said "This is really good." So I read it anyway.
And she was right! It was good! I loved the complex characters and the search for her family. The depiction of some of the struggles one might have after being in a bunker for 10 years... mixed motivations for getting involved with things. It was good! Will read the next ones :)

Read this in one sitting- loved the characters, the art and the design choices. Looking forward to reading more about Cindy after Secret Wars!!!

The best superhero graphic novel I've read all month by a bunch, Silk just blew me away. I loved this story, laughed often, and Lee's artwork is SO cute. Such a delight.
