And so Paul Dini returns to reign over the Detective Comics series. The stories are simple but still wildly entertaining. This is the sort of writing that takes you back to the good ol' days of B:TAS, where there were no complicated gimmicks and red herrings, but sheer classic Batman.
Dustin Nguyen has become one of my favourite Batman artists. Married with Derek Fridolf's fluid inking, Nguyen's artwork is striking and beautiful without the need for garish, harsh details. His watercolour execution is beyond par, and that alone is worth the purchase of this book.

A bunch of short Batman stories, fun and as exciting as you would expect from Paul Dini. Just loved it.
