After Method blew my mind — Law is such a charming and cogent writer. This book is complex and it begs you to really take stock of what you know about methods (research-based, but everyday as well), making it difficult to grasp at times. The examples are very engaging and the project is, in my opinion, emancipatory.

I love what Law suggests here about reconsidering method and the influence of method on reality. Law takes on the issue of the dominance of empirical and positivistic methods in Euro-American research and he shows that considering new approaches and acknowledging what is missing opens up more possibilities for research that moves us away from our insistence on objectivity. While some material here is dense or challenging to follow, Law's writing is clear and his examples compelling. I am a fan of his inserts (designated by borders) and interludes (in between chapters) that were especially reader-friendly and also eye-opening.
