maybe getting Mary hooked on Reichs wasn't such a great idea. I've started ordering her a copy from Amazon when I get mine...

It was a great book. The ending leaves you wondering who will steal Tempe's heart. I'm not sure which one I want to win her heart.

"What is it they say? If you acknowledge your suspicion, it's probably true."

Another great book from the Temperance Brennan series. Once again, I finished this one very quickly because I didn't want to put it down. This one involved a serial killer with a different motive than most. For that twist alone, I would recommend this.

I wasn't as thrilled with this one as i was with Bones to Ashes. The first third of the novel moved the quickest, while the last two thirds dragged. There was too much waffling at the end about who the killer was, and there was a whole lot of simply waiting for phone calls from the police. I understand that Brennan can't be involved in every single take-down of a murderer (because that would be extremely unlikely and fictitious) but I felt as though there just wasn't enough action. Her characters are consistent, I'll give Reichs that, and the fact that she has forensics sprinkled throughout the novel, and not just at the beginning. I will continue to read her novels- perhaps the next one I pick up will be better.
