Bullet Review:
I might not have cared/disliked this book so much were it not for that f$&@er Flare's story.
HOW DARE YOU cheat on your wife and have the GAUL to run back into her arms when you get paralyzed!
And why the flying frak did Miller have to write April as this doofus 19-year-old unable to care for anyone?! I'm sorry but just because she's young doesn't mean she couldn't have been prepared to care for the Flare. Hell, Flare's wife should have left his ass in the dust - and who's to say that just because she's his age she's AUTOMATICALLY capable of caring for the loser.
Also, did not realize The Utopian had a first wife, Jane. I kept wondering why he was snuggling her.
I suppose this wasn't bad otherwise. Just kinda eh. Very stereotypical plots. Not very much new. Felt too much like Miller was gunning for the next Watchman.

The stories (told in 3x2 issues) were interesting and I loved the cover art. The story are isn't to my taste but had high points.

A good story but a so far non-essential prequel. May re-review if anything has relevance in later issues of Jupiter's Legacy.
(Having read Jupiters Legacy II, this is a little more interesting. Still not essential.)

Not exactly original or unique but a fun read and does what it sets outs to do very well

Technically a 3.5 because the art is ugly and I couldn't tell who some of the characters were

Be careful because they renumbered these graphic novels for the Netflix release. Vol 1 and 2 of The NETFLIX EDITION of Jupiter's Legacy is actually Jupiter's Circle.
I enjoyed this book but didn't love it. Straight up superhero drama reminiscent of The Watchmen though it doesn't deconstruct the genre in the same way.
