I received this book as an arc and I am leaving an honest review voluntarily.

This book jumps right into the band. Starting with a concert gone wrong by their opening act. It's kinda funny how it happened but at the same time kinda sucks too.

Copper is surprising in this book stepping in when things go sideways. Copper gets a strange call to come home. Then the book jumps to someone's point of view. Her name is Daisy. Daisy seems to have an intimate relationship with the local bikers; they are like uncles to her.

Copper and daisy have a history, but he isn't there for long and has a commitment to take care of. Will coming home start something new for him? Cooper has an interesting back story that we find out while he is in his hometown. His father situation, life before the band, and even first love all become issues in this book,

Cooper and Daisy can't fight the attraction to each other even though they both know it has an end date. This book gets very steamy. It also includes funny moments as Copper fights for what he wants and tries new things. Copper is a beacon in this book, attracting friends and family he didn't know he had in his hometown.

Like always, there are so many cons against this couple I'm not sure how it could be a happy ending. But I love the battle of the band's idea they have going. A lot of new truth bombs get dropped on him. I also love how he takes care of everyone's issues and helps them. However, the pluses are notable as well. You can enjoy the steamy interactions, the romance, and the happiness they exude.

This book gets sad and emotional as they both decide to give up on themselves and that special feeling. Somehow it all works out, and it couldn't have been a better ending.

Definitely enjoyed this book. Haven't read the others in the series, might have had more groundwork before but it worked without. I liked the couple set up as too shy to have ever acted on their feelings before, but too stubborn to make any changes to their lives to make it work, either.

This was the first book in this series that I've read. I have to say I'm glad I read it. So heartwarming, sexy and unputdownable.

Full review to come.

I loved this book. The entire series was great, and I read the other three over the past year so I don't really know which one I liked best, but I loved this one.

Cooper grew up in rural Montana, to a single mother on drugs. He was neglected and ultimately got a full scholarship and left at 18. He became a rock star with Blue Fire, his friends from college.

He heads back to his hometown to find out who his father was. While he's there he meets up with Daisy, his childhood crush. They fall in love but of course he's a touring rock star and she doesn't want to leave MT.

During the book they set up a huge event which will continue the local festival and bring business to the resort she's setting up. It is also an opportunity for Cooper to find an opening band for the band's next tour.

Cooper was one of those sad puppies that of course happened to be an amazing guitarist and made it, while the entire town seemed to know his mom was neglecting him and they wanted to help but didn't really do so. That was of course awful, but it makes the character and story of him going back home that much better.

He and Daisy had liked each other in school but due to miscommunication/him not feeling "worthy" they never acted on their interest. Now they start dating and Cooper needs to get used to having a relationship and meeting his new/old family.

Their relationship was really sweet. The drama was just enough to move the story along. And Blue Fire comes in just enough to help Cooper understand how loved he is. I'm sorry this series is over

This was all just so AMAZING and I feel blown away!!! Honestly, I can't say enough good things. Emotion, tension, drama, and off the charts chemistry and heat. I felt like my emotions were going to spill over while I was reading and by the end, my heart was bursting. Cooper and Daisy's story was so wonderful and I think it just might be my favorite in the series. That's saying a lot too because I LOVE this series.

Cooper and Daisy were fantastic characters. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them reconnect and learning about their histories. Cooper is so sweet, kind, and caring and so not what people perceive him to be. Daisy was strong and feisty, I loved her spunk. Together they had such amazing interactions. I loved their playfulness and that building heat between the two. They're chemistry sizzled! There are ups and downs, tension an heat, and it was great watching them work through their struggles as they figured everything out.

Everything about this story was pretty perfect for me. The storyline and writing were fantastic. There were so many great details and moments that just filled me up. I was stressed out, I was grinning, I was worried, I was rooting for them, I was teary eyed, my emotions pretty much ran the gamut while reading this. There was excellent character development as well and I enjoyed the build as everything played out. I adore the fact that it was dual POV and I really got to know both of them and feel what they were feeling.

Cooper has always seemed like such a mystery so I love how the author set this story up slightly different from the others in a different location, it seemed to fit perfectly. I love the Blue Fire band and Cooper’s band mates, they’re a great cast of characters. I loved the updates on the guys and where everyone is now with their lives. It makes me want to go back and reread their stories.

If you have not read Erika Kelly before, I highly recommend her. This series is phenomenal! This is the last one and I'm going to miss all the characters but it went out with a bang. 5 I’m-feeling-so-much-stars!

✒️ SNEAK PEAK REVIEW ✒️
Cannot help but feel broken and fall for for Cooper Hood. His story had filled my heart with so much mixed emotions. Cue in Daisy Charbonneau who has always been in his life. Two people perfect together; however, they live different lifestyles and dreams. Is two weeks enough to take everything to something more that is going on outside their little bubble? ~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars

A perfect romantic story

There is No much I can say about this book but for the fact that it was really emotive. When reading Cooper’ story, I could feel myself feeling the same as he. It is such a compelling book that you put yourself in Cooper’ shoes. Sometimes I wanted to cry.

Some days, I’m just in the mood for an epic romance with a soul deep connection that lasts. And that’s what More Than a Feeling is about. Daisy and Cooper crushed on each other in high school, each feeling a connection that was visible to others but neither really taking the leap to telling the other. Cooper is damaged from his childhood of neglect, guarded and more than happy to live the rock star lifestyle. Daisy is determined to succeed, settled in her life in their small hometown, and mistrustful of men. But when Daisy needs him, Cooper steps up while he’s back in town.

And then their chemistry ignites. These two are soo good together. There are a few moments where I want to smack them both upside their heads as they are both stubborn as hell but then they do something to get back into my good graces again. I loved the small town atmosphere, the feel of community that Kelly weaves throughout the book. There are some deep topics touched on briefly but not so long that the book doesn’t stay in the feel good, heartfelt mood. The drama is on the light side as well, not overly angsty. These characters were beautifully developed. They both had strengths, weaknesses, and insecurities. The secondary characters were just as great. There was a wonderful sense of community throughout the book.

I absolutely enjoyed this book from start to finish. It was heartwarming and definitely a feel good book. There was just the right amount of twists to keep it entertaining without making it overwrought. I’m definitely adding this to my re-read shelf. Now, this is part of a series but I hadn’t read the others and it wasn’t needed. You can definitely read this as a standalone. That being said, if you’re like me you’re going to want to go out and buy them all after reading this one.

If you’re a fan of rock star novels, I’d definitely pick this one up today.
