I think all the characters are way too immature for their age. I don't understand why
the dude is so interested in marrying her after like 6 months.
i think there's way too much transphobia in the book. At least with the homophobia and antisemitism it's only the antagonists acting bigoted. But even the main character participates in calling transgender ppl "shemales" 😐 so annoying. Also these lawyers are breaking several rules. I understand that it's not meant to be completely realistic cuz itsa romance but please for the love of god don't make the lawyers commit several crimes.
