A little *Twilight-y* in nature, it's not a story I would pick up the sequel for. I liked it, but I wouldn't use it in my classroom for anything other than a book shelf book. I can definitely see how some students would love the plot, but it's not one that falls into my wheelhouse.

I think my mind has just been completely and totally screwed with. Crazy little twist at the end there. Just crazy.

I liked the whole book quite a lot. I kinda sorta met Michelle Hodkin at a book signing for Becca Fitzpatrick and during the whole Q and A, the way she talked about her writing totally captivated me, so I decided to order her book from Barnes and Noble's website (although now I wish I would have gotten a copy at the signing).

I loved the way the romance and mystery played out. If I wouldn't have been so busy this week, I would have read it in one sitting.

2.5 stars, right down the middle. Hmmm...not sure what to think of this book. It was silly and cartoonish in its extremes, but I kept turning pages. The friendships and dating relationship were pretty terrible, but the sibling relationship was nice.
