Not a very well written romance novel; it almost seems as if it was pulled off of a romance story website. The main character, Odessa Ripley, is supposed to be the queen of all bad-asses as a CIA assassin, yet for the most part she seems to be more bark than bite. The love interest, Wyatt Whitaker, does not have to fight hard to win her heart, despite the fact that she's supposed to be a love-em-and-leave-em type of girl. There should have been more substance, more story, more of a battle for the two to fall in love, especially given both of the characters' personal histories.
