This collection of Pixar short stories was suprisingly not focused on the plot of each characters respective movies. I was a bit suprised by that, actually. On one hand, it was nice for me to see my favs in new, fun adventures, but for the little tyke- she's not too interested in things beyond what she knows. She wants to see Mr. Incredible crushing his robotos or Wall-E staking garbage blocks. Taking half the time to explain a new plot while introducing familiar characters just felt like a bit much for the toddler audience, but I also don't know if an 8 year old would like this reading level either.
Shrug. Still a nice Disney read.
