I don't find Toby to be a particularly relatable character which makes the book somewhat difficult to enjoy.

Loved this book. Lots of quirky characters, depicted so that I could picture each one. The story doesn’t always take the predictable path. It kept me listening and invested all the way to the end.

Read this book a few years ago. I liked learning about all of the different characters and how their lives were entwined.

Roommates Wanted shows complexities in people. It urges you to think about your intentions and your current life, while simultaneously seeing how other people do the same.
But it was just kinda boring. I liked the people I was supposed to, I hated the one I was supposed to, and I finished the book. That was it.

When I say I finally finished this book today, I don't mean that I want you to think it was a chore to read, as it really wasn't. I just had no time to read!
The characters in the book were plenty, but not so many that I couldn't keep track. I love the way that Lisa Jewell always makes each character have an aspect that you relate to, that you know is something you think or need to work on in yourself.
Would quite like to read about all the characters from 31 Dream Street as they progress through life...
