I seem to be on a roll this year for finding new-to-me authors and series and almost immediately getting the next book in line. First one grabs and doesn't let go with the premise, characters and setting. I just have to get the next one...most of the time while still reading the book one.
I am fascinated by stained glass and was a bit disappointed that the first book in the series didn't delve too much into the art. That changed in the second book. Yay! Characters are still excellent, super mystery, great setting...but it was the intricacies and particulars of creating stained glass art that made the story much more to my liking.
Georgia is starting to settle in, but isn't sure she wants that. She thinks she is a city girl, but loves the comfort of her small town she grew up in and has escaped back to. I like watching her growth process as much as I enjoy the mystery she involves herself in.
Really looking forward to #3 whenever it comes out.
Definite recommend.

Holy cow!!! This book couldn't have dragged on any slower than watching a snail on a leaf. Way too much detail and not enough plot. The characters were boring. This was my first time with this author and it will probably be the last.

Good writing, setting and characters, but a transparent plot.
