The book will always be my favourite THGTTG medium, being my first encounter with it, but the radio series is a close second.

Loved Hearing the original radio play I can’t believe it’s taking me this long to sit down and enjoy the original hitchhikers guide to the galaxy

It is a really good audio to listen to. It's less of a unified tale and more of a series of episodic adventures. I would say that the story could be a bit difficult to get used to for some, but if you just go with the flow, it is very enjoyable.

Every version of HHGTG I’ve enjoyed (book, laughable old BBC version, text adventure game, and movie) has given me a new perspective on this classic. (Note that? This is my “classic of a genre” entry for the 2018 Read Harder Challenge.) The original BBC radio broadcast adds helpful vocal tones, comic timing, and fun spacey wacey sound effects, even though the audio quality is what it is. The best part is an interview/behind the scenes added to the end with Douglas Adams and some of the producers that is definitely worth listening to for any fan.

I've been a fan of the books for 30 years, but this was the first time I finally sat down to listen to the original radio play. It did not disappoint.
