The scholomance isn't destroyed as El thought, and when the truth about Orion's past and his skills come to light, El needs to take a drastic decision if she wants to protect th people she loves.

This is the last book in the trilogy and I devoured it in just a few hours. I really enjoyed it, although the end was bittersweet.

i didn’t think i’d actually tear up with this book but it was kind of emotionally devastating.
orion deserved a normal fucking life y’all…

all in all, the writing style of these books definitely are not for me, as it can be long-winded at times. it got easier to follow along through each book, but this one was also slightly jumpy with so much traveling that, although necessary for the plot, became too much.

however, this particular series has such an interesting magic system that you can’t bear to put the book down once things start to connect in your head. and with this being the last book, everything truly does connect while still having a technically open ending. a good series for those who are interested in unique wizardry!

hmmm idk i think the narration was starting to weigh on me bc I did not enjoy this as much as the other two, still lots of really cool ideas, but just didn't absorb it in the same way.

What a series ! One of my favorite for sure, I really enjoyed every single book.
This book is full of plot twists we weren't prepared for. The end is quite unexpected, I had lots of fun reading it.
I like the characters development and the relationships are well developed. I still don't get why there's this lgbtqia + passage, it is unnecessary and adds nothing to the series, it feels like it's there to say we checked the box "Reaching the lgbtqia+ community". Apart from that, I would have liked a more developed relationship with Orion, it feels like he's there but not really there, which we can understand at the beginning but in the last chapters is confusing.
Overall, it is well written, you don't get bored while reading it, there's always a storyline making you want to turn the next page.
Congrats for this amazing series !

It's over. 😭 First series I've devoured in a very long time. I'll miss it.
