I wish I had found this book sooner. Maia captures the complexities of being a genderqueer (or non-binary) individual in a way that is humorous and realistic; from the obsession with queer fanfiction to the shame of not correcting people when they misgender you, I found myself relating to eir experiences in my own unique way. I look forward to having some of my loved ones read this so they may better understand me and my identity.
