I appreciated the unique plot and found myself flying through the pages. That being said, this probably isn’t the right book if you’re looking for a structurally sound story, as both the characterization and world building erred on the side of nonsensical.

You know how lead characters usually try to blend in when they find themselves in an alternate reality so as not to raise suspicion? Well, the MMC didn’t get the memo. He was flagrantly trashing the FMC to his staff, family, boss and peers, as well as trying to hook up with OW, despite the fact that in this alternate universe he’s a devoted and faithful husband to the FMC.

The romance was a bit awkward and abrupt, what with Armand and Jordana’s feelings for each other practically doing a one-eighty overnight. I was also a bit frustrated that Armand got his act together towards the end of the book only for Jordana to go and make a bull-headed decision. However, whenever they managed to be on the same page they made a lovable couple.
