A brilliant cosmic horror that builds in intensity and atmosphere as the story progresses. I really loved the characters, who felt really real and well fleshed out, and I was rooting through them throughout. I can't wait to read the next one, and find out what happens next! The narrator did a good job.

I think I preferred Head Like A Hole, just, but I adored that book so that's no criticism here. I loved the characters, the cosmic horror of it all is completely up my street, and the gradual escalation of it all had me hooked before I knew it.

I can't wait to read the sequel, because if Van Wey is able to ramp it up from here, I know that we'll be in for one hell of a ride.
