still love Sebastian.

White Knight definitely started right where the first book left off. We are still falling Cannon and Drew.. but some secrets are coming out as well. It was interesting to see more of the whole Romeo vs Juliet vibe that I was getting in the first book come to life. The whole mob vs mob was a smidge eye opening just to see that these two families were on a wild roller coaster ride. Hot and cold flashes all over the place - it's amazing how no one had whiplash.

Long story short, Drew/Memphis/idk remember what her real name is and Cannon fell even more in love. He was her protector through and through. She was becoming one with the family and definitely showing them that she belongs/is one of them. These two would do absolutely anything for one another because that's what true love is.

Ugh, these two were adorable. I really enjoyed the ending and now I'm intrigued to see what the hell everyone else is doing in this series. I think there were some spin offs or a possibility of novellas coming our way?? No idea, but I would be down to dive into those.

Overall, loved this little duet and will look forward to whatever comes my way bookwise.

This was such a fantastic way to end this duet. I wasn't a huge fan of Cannon in Creighton and Holly's story, but this series quickly changed my opinion. I was very hesitant to start this series because of that, but let me tell you. This wrapped up the New York situation perfectly. I would have been very upset if March didn't bring certain character's back together. I'm in love with the world that March has created and her ability to interweave certain characters from her other books is superb! Her books are decently quick reads because she has the ability to grab your attention, pull at your heart strings, piss you off, and then throw you a curve ball that you didn't anticipate. In the end, she wraps everything up a in bow just perfectly. I couldn't even tell you which series to start with, but I started with the New Orleans series. I've listened to the audiobooks for the majority of them. I highly recommend that route just as much as being able to highlight favorite quotes in the physical copies.

Great ending to a pretty fantastic duet. White Knight is jam packed with action, suspense, heat and of course exciting twist and turns. Secrets are revealed and let me tell you, I didn't see them coming. I am continuously awed by Meghan March's ability to make me feverishly swipe the pages and cling to every word.

If possible, Memphis (Drew) and Cannon's chemistry is even hotter. I love this couple and the strong, solid relationship they built. They're so fiercely committed to one another. They tackled absolutely everything together.

I really liked Memphis but Cannon was on another level. I have the biggest crush on him. He is everything I look for in a hero. Smart, sexy, loyal and protective. He's all swoons and alpha goodness. I need more Cannon in my life.

On a personal note, after reading Black Sheep, there was one reconciliation I wanted more than anything; even more than the romance. *squealing* I got it. It was more satisfying than I could have imagined. Totally made my heart happy.

Meghan March knocked it out of the park with this duet. It's a for sure must read!!

White Knight is the conclusion of Cannon and Drew’s story. It’s filled with twists and turns that you don’t see coming and definitely aren’t expecting! The chemistry is hotter than ever between Cannon and Drew. I absolutely adore Meghan’s writing and can’t wait for what she writes next!!!!!

You bet that after that cliffhanger ending of book one, which I’m telling you had my heart stopping for a few minutes, I dived into this story like a woman needing her next fix.

The story continued where it left off, with bated breath and on the edge of my seat wanting to know what will happen. Ms. March again didn’t disappoint with her engaging storyline and characters. The complex twists and turns and reappearance of previous characters lend depth to this another page turner read. The chemistry between Cannon and Drew is still as scintillating like before but more as feelings fully developed all through the story. I loved it and could not wait for another amazing read from this author!

Epic conclusion for the duet, this book was better than the first one, with so much angst, suspense, mystery and action. The twist was amazing. A superb reading. Epic mafia romance, the story behind Drew and Cannon gets unveiled, their enemies and family are not what they seem and now we get to see how it ends. The perfect mafia story a must read and a phenomenal 5 star from me!

Black Sheep and White Knight: The Dirty Mafia Duet by Meghan March

Narrated by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt
Contemporary Romance Duet
4.5 Stars

Passion, love, action, suspense. The Dirty Mafia Duet by Meghan March brings it all. There are very few authors that I will commit to duets and trilogies for, But Meghan March is one of them. She’s on my “read everything” list. I don’t read mafia books as a genre, I don’t avoid them, but they aren’t common for me. But if they are as good as this, I may have to start!
“Welcome to the world of being an illegitimate Casso. It’s a fucking blast.”

Cannon Freeman is the black sheep of the family. He’s Dominic Casso’s illegitimate son and possible heir to the Casso crime family. Right now he runs a legitimate elite cigar club in NY called the “Upper 10” because it’s only open to the top 10% of wealthy people. Drew Carson is an undercover reporter trying to find out who killed her father and why, so she gets a job at the Upper Ten to get in.
“She’s a beautiful woman, who’s smart and private and doesn’t want a damn thing to do with me. Apparently, that’s the recipe for my downfall. Who fucking knew?”

Drew wanted nothing to do with Cannon, but he was kind of hard to resist, especially when she realized that he wasn’t the bad guy. With her wig and colored contacts, Cannon knew she was hiding something. He knew she could be dangerous. But he didn’t care.
“There are a million things that should stop me, but not a goddamned one will. I staked my claim. I meant it. You are mine.”

There was such a detailed plotline that ties back into earlier books, but they weren’t necessary to understand this story. I love how Meghan’s stories are so much more….ugh, I don’t know the right words, they are just so much more everything, and in just the perfect balance.

Black Sheep ends on a helluva cliffy, so be glad that White Knight is there waiting!
“You’re my woman now, whether you like it or not.”…“And I promise I’m going to make damn sure you fucking love it.”

The Narration:

What can I say about Sebastian York and Andi Arndt that hasn’t been said before? This dynamic duo was perfect for the mature, intelligent couple of Memphis (Drew) and Canon.

The Down & Dirty:

Love, lies, lust, and revenge all come together in the Dirty Mafia Duet by Meghan March. It was an interesting story filled with unexpected twists and turns and I enjoyed every second. Meghan March proves why she is one of my favorite authors once again in this riveting, sexy duet.
