A girl explains all of the things her mom does to make her feel better when she’s sick. This is a sweet book that acknowledges that sometimes when we aren’t feeling well, some extra time with the ones we love can make us feel better.

Such a sweet story about how a young child needs some "Mommy Medicine" - that extra attention a caregiver gives when a young one is sick. I enjoyed the author's note at the end that reminds us that while the book is called "Mommy", any caregiver can give the love and attention a child needs to feel special.
Also love that the illustrations feature characters of color in a book that has nothing to do with race or history. More of these, please.

Such a tender story. When you are sick all we want is our mom to take care of us. Such a beautiful story on how mom’s make you feel better.

A sweet book celebrating the special Mommy Medicine that a mother gives her daughter when she's sick, whether it's making special food or drinks, cuddles, or playing imaginary games. The art's a bit awkward looking - reminds me of cartoons from the 90s? But it's a sweet book portraying an African American mother and daughter and all the gentle ways that mothers can express love.

A very cute book about all the ways mom makes you feel good. The book is on the longer side so it would make a better read aloud for elementary children.
