I truly enjoyed this book. The illustrations are bright and fun, the colors vivid. The book begins with the narrator, Lana, explaining how someone who is deaf can do everything any other person can. She goes on to explain the devices she uses to help her such as her hearing aid and a flashing light on her phone to let her know when it's ringing. The book is inspiring and gives a good insight to what it's like to be deaf. What I particularly like are the recommended activities listed at the end of the book to help children further grasp the concepts, and the parents' guide to help parents learn more in order to better teach their children.

A clear, helpful title that will help children understand deafness and how they can support their hearing-impaired friends.
