I loved volume 1. How do they resolve Tony being evil? How do they resolve Daredevil's sight?

They don't. Press the "universe reset" switch over there and this is all a big What if?

A cheap cop-out.

Not as good as volume 1. The story was quite strange. I wasn't sure who was Tony Stark and who to root for. The art work really saved the day here it was stunning and well connected to the story.

Ending was abrupt but I actually enjoyed that. Didn't think it would go in that direction and it was a good demonstration of where he would end up.
I really was expecting him to be fixed somehow, so it was a genuine surprise to see him come out on top but ultimately be in a worse position.

This would probably work better as a single bigger volume.

As much as I enjoyed the story of Superior Iron Man, this volume just felt like the opening act to a larger story. Or at least a more interesting one. Secret wars cut this series short, which is a shame because it would have been interesting to see this new iron man interact with more characters instead of just more suits of armor. Because of this the second volume has a sharp disconnect from its first volume in tone which hurts it immensely. I wish it could have been better but I really did enjoy it.

My review for Volume 1 and 2:

Reading through this Superior Iron Man series left me feeling like

In truth, I picked these up because it seemed like an interesting story, but there was something so hopeless about the ending. This feels like Tom Taylor posed the question, "What would Tony Stark be like if he were really Dr. Evil?"

Something about this story arc feels incomplete. It's as if the author went through the outline and thought

Unfortunately, while the whole series is a quick read, it is lackluster in terms of story. The story relies far too much on Tony's debauchery and far too little on doing anything of substance. The subplot with Jamie had the potential to humanize the story, but instead it is written out at the very end, as if the author was like

It felt like the whole story arc was cheapened by an unwillingness to actually address Jamie's hulk like tendencies, instead making it a non-issue. In the end, the whole series was pretty average. I picked it up because I thought it would be a story where Pepper would shine, and she does, though her willingness to accept that she will probably lose just seems a bit awkward. It's almost like she's in a space of

when she's also trying to show that she's the scariest thing Tony has ever encountered.

I was a big fan of the first volume, but this one is not that good, conflicts get solved in the easiest way possible and is not even entertaining.

If Goodreads gave you more control of the stars I would give this book 2 1/2. The ending for this book was rushed and unresolved due to the Secret wars, 2015 which is a shame because they could’ve continued the story, but it ends on a moot point /unresolved. the story did get a little confusing with the multiple backup clones and also The rush ending of teenage abomination of oh no your mother still alive offscreen so you’re back to normal. This was a fantastic series, but the rushed ending and the weight of event comics ruined. What was a very good series. That being said, writing and art was still very good, also, if you get the collected volume, having an old issue to fill out, the volume is annoying
