If I was still doing storytime, I would totes be using this one. Wouldn't this be a fun creative dramatic/yoga storytime book?

The onomatopoeia and the repeated phrase "Oh, no!" will make this fun for group read-alouds. I like that some of the animals are a bit different, like Loris and Sun Bear.

Cute story but difficult to read -- it feels like there should be a cadence to the words but I couldn't quite find it.

When a frog falls into a hole, his cries for help draw increasingly large animals who try to get him out. They all end up falling in; what to do?

Gorgeous illustration and design: full page bordered watercolors on recycled paper and different fonts to accentuate repeating sections. Surprise ending will lead to discussion.

Stunning wildlife illustrations go along with a very amusing story about karma.

It was as much fun to read aloud as I thought.

This one will be such a fun one to read aloud to young children!
I, personally, love that the animals chosen weren't your normal jungle animals but some unique ones like the Loris and Sun Bear.
Oh, and let's not forget the amazing illustrations that add another level to the book, and the amazing rhyme and rhythm.

Beautifully illustrated. Written for fun. This one will be perfect for pre-schoolers to act out. I can see it now. All the animals come along through the jungle, falling into a hole one by one, then the tiger who plans to eat them falls in, too. Oh, no!
