I've enjoyed reading this series from the start and this particular instalment was a bit different and lgbt friendly.
It wasn't the best, however, but engaging nonetheless, with likeable characters and a happy ending that wasn't obvious at the start (except that duh, it's romance !).

This was a decent book, but nothing to write home about. Rhys and Vivian had chemistry, but there wasn’t much substance to this romance. The premise sounded more interesting than the story turned out to be.
I appreciated the diversity in this book, with Vivian’s fencing mentor being trans, but honestly that character’s backstory felt more interesting than this book’s whole storyline. I kinda shipped her with Vivian’s uncle, but I doubt that would happen.
