My online book club is reading this novel for the month of February, and since I've read the book before, I thought I would read the graphic novel version.

It's a pretty decent adaptation. The art could use a bit more color, in my opinion. Everything is in a 2-tone ink style, and it would have been a bit nicer with some more color, or even some color accents.

The characters and dialogue stay true to the original source. The book is always better, and that is true here too.

I love the artwork/art style very much. However, i just did a lot like the story itself. I have not read A Wrinkle in Time before and I am not sure how close this is l but I found the characters very sporadic with their emotions and i found it hard to root for any of them.

I wanted to revisit a favorite story, and while this graphic adaptation didn't pack the punch of the original, it was a fun refresher. For reluctant readers, sci-fi can be challenging and Larson's illustrations bring it to life in a more accessible way.

One dark and stormy night, Meg meets Mrs. Who, and gets swept away on a very dark adventure indeed. Very adroit adaptation (and condensing) of L'Engle's novel by Hope Larson, but while I adore Hope Larson's art and imaginative panel design, I'm still not sure Larson's style jives with the tone of the story.

I was feeling nostalgic for a title I remembered from childhood when I bought this straight from Hope at TCAF. Unfortunately after reading this I discovered I wasn't a huge fan of the story (at least anymore), but at least I am a fan of her work. I definitely want to check out her original work in the future.

I have never read the actual book, so I can't compare the two. I thought the book was good in the sense that I enjoyed the art and thought Larson did a good job putting it all together. However, I really didn't like the actual story. Glad I never bothered to read the original!

This was a beautiful adaption of a book that I already love. I was thrilled to have found this in my library and even more thrilled to recommend it to people I know.

I read the original when my son was assigned it for school, and I didn't get it, just a very odd book. This has nice art, and is a more enjoyable read than the original, but still...
